"Hackers" is a comedy at best.
"[Operation] Takedown" (2000) [1] (supposedly
about Kevin Mitnick, a phreaker with a talent
for social engineering) is OTOH a very cool
movie, but I think the movie-reality
relationship is somewhere around zero to 1.
The inofficial "Hackers 3",
"Antitrust" (2001) [2] has the quality of an
average X-Files episode IMO.
