The built-in info in better for the last one IMO, if you can manage it:

For those of us who prefer VC (or command-line):
(with server-start and EDITOR=emacsclient)
M-& git rebase -i <commit>
Add the line (as per the instructions shown), wherever:
exec git commit --amend --author="name <email>"
C-x # (or M-x server-edit-abort)

An ordinary one, but with the extra keys remapped so that Ctrl is there
on both palms and Alt on both thumbs.

The Emacs Tangents mailing list is like a wild party where we discuss
everything like if cat pictures should be considered legitimate
documentation.
Meanwhile, Info Gnu Emacs is more like a library where you can quietly
read about the intricacies of Emacs without worrying about someone
showing up in a penguin suit doing the Macarena.

I'm running a GUI Emacs in X.
But also a -nw one in xterm.
And then one in the Linux VT.
And another one in fbterm.
And one on the dataswamp server.
But which is faster than the others?
I don't know, do we have tools to tell?
My money would be on fbterm!
