Can you? I noticed something very similar in CVS Gnus with CVS Emacs from yesterday. See http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.emacs.gnus.general/67353 For now I've wrapped the problem with a condition-case in Gnus... Definitely not the right solution, but I can enter groups now :) Ted
