I'd like to use mavensmate as a backend for salesforce.com project compilation and deployment. It's a python module that uses json for commands. This would be a replacement for the Eclipse Force.com plugin.
Is there an emacs mode already out there that follows a similar model of calling an external program for compilation, handles a json response, and allows access to some project-management features? I know about 'make' support, but I'd like to start as simple as possible, just to get things up and running.
