Examples of non-transformed lines are

- The first line, which here is "Day-agenda (W05):".

- `org-agenda-block-separator' lines which I have set to ^L.

- Grid lines (key G)

Possibly it's difficult to realize checkbox toggle otherwise in column
view mode.  (Just my spontaneous 2ct thought.)
