Some recent commits have made emacs --daemon nigh impossible to use.
Starting a daemon with `emacs --daemon -Q` and opening either a
graphical or terminal client, I cannot see point move, nor see things
typed into prompts.
In GNU Emacs 25.0.50.2 (x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu, X toolkit, cairo version 1.14.2, Xaw scroll bars)
