Which for me makes the release pointless. When I'm talking about more frequent releases, I mean make them more frequent, but without giving up too much of the quality. If our release tarballs become of low enough quality, they lose their raison d'ĂȘtre. If people just want a tarball from a particular commit, Savannah can service such requests, similar to any other repository: they all know how to produce an archive from a given branch/commit.
