Yes, and the NEWS item should warn users that this makes bleeding-edge Emacs
incompatible with current Bash. Last month I sent the Bash maintainers a bug
report <http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-bash/2015-03/msg00179.html> about
this, and yesterday I got an acknowledgment
<http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-bash/2015-04/msg00036.html> but the fix
hasn't been installed in the publicly-visible development Bash sources.
