That context is unrelated to anything mentioned in https://gnu.org/philosophy/words-to-avoid.html#CloudComputing. The word "cloud" is not to blame for some of its abuses. We should not be afraid of using "cloud" as a word. Doing so makes us look ridiculous at best. I don't think we want to be like some regimes that are afraid of certain words.
