bug#25886: 25.1; freeze by C-g while character display

Emacs may take a long time to display some sort of characters.
In my environment, 567 is one of such characters.
Evaluating (insert 567), I see a framed box containing 0237
after one second or two.
If I type C-g before the box is displayed, emacs freezes.

If 567 is not such a character, please try the form below.
(dotimes (i 1000)
  (insert (format "%d\t%c\n" i i))
  (redisplay))

I think this is bug#25279, fixed recently on the master branch.
