Sorry, no. That fix includes changes to the installation, something that was found to be "an issue" during the discussions. And 25.2 is strictly a bug-fix release, so installation changes are out. Since the fix is just one file that should be installed somewhere, why is it so important to have it in the distro? Btw, shouldn't the Emacs invocation command in the service file be modified to invoke it in the foreground mode?
