Btw, this is inaccurate: we have at least 2 other ways:
. S-mouse-1->"Change buffer font...", pops up the font selection
dialog, where you can change the size of the font used in the
current buffer.
. Options->"Set Default Font..." pops up the same font selection
dialog, but the selected font size will become the default face's
font size.
