It probably would, except that most of those projects don't use
Bazaar. There are no ways (AFAIK) to sync on a day-to-day basis 2
repositories maintained by 2 different VCSes. By contrast, there
_are_ several potential solutions if you use a single dVCS. Git
supports nested repositories (IIUC), and bzr has a couple of plugins
to do something similar.
