Yes.  You are proposing to add text about a completely unrelated
aspect of Emacs.  Selecting a window has nothing to do with focus, but
it's absurd to ask Emacs to mention in doc strings aspects that are
NOT related to the aspects the doc string describes: there are too
many of those.
