This is a bit odd.

I have gnus at home and work, both running on German language OS' (both
Windows/Cygwin), and at work the dates in the summary line are shown like
 .18-Mrz 14 ...
while at home they are displayed like
 .18-Mar 14 ...

How do I get them to be in English, please? I can find documentation
about setting the format of the line, but not about how to configure
which language it should be displayed in...
