How does set-fontset-font work on overlapped regions?
(set-fontset-font NAME TARGET FONT-SPEC &optional FRAME ADD)
TARGET can be cons (FROM . TO), script name symbol or charset.
Is latest settings have larger priority?

Please read the documentation of set-fontset-font, it explains this,
and points you to the ADD argument as the device to define priority if
needed.
In general, though, I recommend to set up fonts such that regions of
their character codepoints don't overlap. It's easier to maintain.
