Subject: vc-dir-node-directory: Wrong type argument: arrayp, nil
Date: Thu, 04 Oct 2012 09:43:19 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <80a9w2wulk.fsf@somewhere.org> (raw)

Hello,

With some sandboxes (/ projects), when using vc commands, I get the following
error:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
Error during redisplay: (error "Before first headline at position 1 in buffer *vc-dir*") [51 times]
(info) +-> Requiring `vc-svn'... already loaded
error in process sentinel: vc-dir-node-directory: Wrong type argument: arrayp, nil
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

When toggling error-on-debug, I get the following backtrace:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
Debugger entered--Lisp error: (wrong-type-argument arrayp nil)
  ewoc-data(nil)
  vc-dir-node-directory(nil)
  vc-dir-update((("/cygdrive/d/home/sva/Projects/XXXXXXXXX/YYYYY/dev/externals/ZZZZZ/externals/msp/externals/libs" needs-update) ...))
  #[(G83601 entries &optional more-to-come) "r\bJq\210\306	\bJ\"...
  apply(#[(G83601 entries &optional more-to-come) "r\bJq\210\306	\bJ\"...
  (lambda (&rest --cl-rest--) (apply (quote #[(G83601 entries &optional more-to-come) "r\bJq\210\306	\bJ\"...
  vc-svn-after-dir-status((lambda (&rest --cl-rest--) (apply (quote #[(G83601 entries &optional more-to-come) "r\bJq\210\306	\bJ\"...
  eval((vc-svn-after-dir-status (quote (lambda (&rest --cl-rest--) (apply (quote #[(G83601 entries &optional more-to-come) "r\bJq\210\306	\bJ\"...
  vc-exec-after((vc-svn-after-dir-status (quote (lambda (&rest --cl-rest--) (apply (quote #[(G83601 entries &optional more-to-come) "r\bJq\210\306	\bJ\"...
  vc-process-sentinel(#<process svn> "finished\n")
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

Any idea how to spot the cause of the problem?

GNU Emacs 24.2.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600) of 2012-08-27 on MARVIN
on Windows XP

Best regards,
  Seb
