Subject: File-name clashes on 8+3 filesystems
Date: Mon, 29 Dec 2003 12:27:10 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <8011-Mon29Dec2003122710+0200-eliz@elta.co.il> (raw)
The current CVS includes some files whose names clash (map to the
same file name) when truncated to 8+3 limits on DOS filesystems:
INSTALL-CVS vs install-sh
lisp/emacs-lisp/testcover-ses.el vs lisp/emacs-lisp/testcover-unsafep.el
vs lisp/emacs-lisp/testcover.el
Is it okay to rename INSTALL-CVS to INSTALL.CVS?
Is it okay to rename testcover*.el to tcover*.el?
