[EMACS] Troubles with configuration file

Hi,

I've got some troubles with .emacs file. (in  /home/nico/ )
Emacs doesn't load the file, and when i try to save the current
configuration by the menu bar it said "cannot save customizations; init file
was not fully loaded"

So where can I edit this file ?

Hi,

stupid question : are you sure that your home path is /home/nico ?

You can edit it this way: C-x C-f ~/.emacs RET

If you type that in emacs, you will be sure to get the .emacs emacs tries to load.
