FWIW, I've been using Emacs 30.0.60 for almost two months on macOS
Sonoma, mostly with Org Mode, AUCTeX, and a bit of Markdown Mode.
Everything works fine with my setup, except for one bug I reported which
is specific to the macOS port's use of the system clipboard, but I don't
really mind with my workflow. So you may give it a try.
Don't worry, it's Emacs.
