Just to be clear: I=E2=80=99m one of the few maintainers of the utterly inad= equate typescript-mode found on MELPA (and so is Theodor). Development of the Elisp-based parser has already stalled and there=E2=80=99= s really not much development going on there at all. Nor has there been for q= uite a time.=20 I=E2=80=99m fairly certain iI speak on behalf of most of us when I say that o= nce the tree-sitter based typescript-mode is available via Emacs, we will ha= lt development entirely, and just add the required code to avoid colliding w= ith an existing Emacs-implementation.=20 There will be -no collusion- by introducing the typescript-mode.el patch as t= ypescript-mode, because this will effectively become the new living implemen= tation.=20
