I am familiar with the home directory. I believe it is in the form of envi= ronment variables. I also regularly use Red Hat in a school computer lab. = This is why I am trying to become good with emacs because I am attracted t= o how powerful it is. I want to use it for a lot of different things and m= any different programming languages instead of using IDLE for Python, and E= clipse for Java, and so on and so on. I want to be able to program everyth= ing in emacs.
