Subject: Trouble executing (previous-buffer) at startup in .emacs
Date: Thu, 11 Jul 2013 07:45:14 -0700 (PDT)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <7620fe26-df3b-4ea4-b8cd-dad29bab5610@googlegroups.com> (raw)

I'm trying to execute (previous-buffer) at startup.

I created a .emacs with only these 2 commands...

(shell)
(previous-buffer)

I was hoping I'd see something else besides the GNU welcome screen message.
The (shell) ran but the 2nd command didn't seem to. Why?
