I did not observe any problems just now, with a fresh build (git clone; 
./autogen.sh; ./configure; make; make check) of Emacs master (commit 
b1cf262a79463f28164ea1c2ffee3c657ce02ea4) on Fedora 27 x86-64. This used 
GCC 7.2.1 20170915 (Red Hat 7.2.1-2).
