I can''t handle your black background. Please don't use it.
Being able to copy and paste text with properties is an
important feature. Why should users not be able to do that?

Subject: kill- new and text-properties
Hi Emacs,
when looking for a fix of HYPERLINK "mailto:29323@debbugs.gnu.org"29323@debbugs.gnu.org -- implementing a check for duplicates, not just for a repeat -- saved text-properties make the compare more difficult.
Given that such properties are quite local, what are the reasons being saved in kill-ring?
Thanks,
Andreas
