Subject: bug#7224: 23.2; comint-password-prompt-regexp misses kinit prompt
Date: Fri, 15 Oct 2010 20:09:35 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <61FF4EF1-9E43-4F00-A987-37E9E330AD8D@teamaol.com> (raw)

Some versions of kinit use the prompt "Please enter the password for
user@domain: ". This is not matched by the default value for
comint-password-prompt-regexp. I suggest adding "the" (or maybe
"[Ee]nter the") to the list of words that may precede "password", i.e.

"\\(\\(Enter \\|[Oo]ld \\|[Nn]ew \\|the \\|'s \\|login \\|Kerberos \\|CVS \\|UNIX \\| SMB \\|LDAP \\|\\[sudo] \\|^\\)[Pp]assword\\( (again)\\)?\\|pass phrase\\|\\(Enter \\|Repeat \\|Bad \\)?[Pp]assphrase\\)\\(?:, try again\\)?\\(?: for [^:]+\\)?:\\s *\\'"
