Emacs 21.1

In (the upcoming) awk-mode, if I do C-h m, the mode's key bindings
contain these four lines:

<C-M-e> c-end-of-defun
<C-M-a> c-beginning-of-defun

ESC C-e c-awk-end-of-defun
ESC C-a c-awk-beginning-of-defun

The first two are spurious, and I would not have expected to see them.
They are overshadowed by the last two.

Email: aacm@muuc.dee; to decode, wherever there is a repeated letter
(like "aa"), remove half of them (leaving, say, "a").
