Subject: bug#590: emacsclient not working in Emacs.app
Date: Mon, 21 Jul 2008 15:27:29 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <5f089c510807211227m71380786meacf046bad195cef@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Using intel iMac, OS 10.5.4, Emacs.app from CVS an hour or so ago,
with (server-start) in my .emacs. In a separate terminal session
running alpine, I attempt to edit a mail message, which should open a
window in emacs. Instead I am immediately returned to the terminal
session. The error message there is:
-error Unknown&_command:&_/var/folders/X8/X8zFtrhsG5WoJEjIaN+OJU+++TI/&-Tmp&-/pico.543400
No relevant message in the *Messages* buffer in emacs.
No problem of this sort when I use Carbon Emacs instead.
