This is the main reason I would like to see all packages in a repository=20 instead of bundled with Emacs. This would make Emacs smaller, easier to=20 maintain, release and value (features, new packages, bugfixes, etc.)=20 would be faster delivered to users. Is there any reason why, let's say, cc-mode cannot be in ELPA? Certainly=20 not.
