* Sort Reverse Date with Threads

How would one go about sorting in reverse date order (May before April,
before ...) and having threads sorted so that the latest entry in a
thread is at the top of the thread hierarchy?

See (info "(gnus)Sorting the Summary Buffer"), in case you're talking
about Gnus.  BTW, gnu.emacs.gnus[1] is more appropriate for Gnus
questions.
