Those messages = are=20 merely due to a boastful compiler announcing that it can optimize a=20 comarison away. Although recent GCCs are less boastful, they=E2=80=99re s= till=20 doing that optimization. We=E2=80=99ve made some important changes to emacs-25 in this area since = this=20 bug was reported in November. Is the current version of emacs-25 still=20 dumping core on FreeBSD 9? If not, we can close the bug. Otherwise,=20 please run it under a debugger and give us a backtrace.
