But I would submit that, when using Emacs on Windows, having dired display a directory precisely the same way Windows Explorer displays it is a better default. To accomplish this, the following two customizations suffice. In the Ls Lisp group, do the following: -- toggle Ls Lisp Uca Like Collation to off (nil) -- toggle Ls Lisp Dirs First to on (non-nil) --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus
