Hi, everyone,
recently, I want to export emacs source from subversions.gnu.org.
But cvs client always said connection timeout.
I have successfully tried to use cvs to export XEmacs source from
xemac's cvs server. So I think the gnu cvs server:savannah.gnu.org
maybe some problem.
Can anyone tell me the result?

How did you try your checkout ?
CVS repository shut down the pserver months ago after savannah hack, if it
is the one you tried.
Now it's :ext:anoncvs@savannah.gnu.org:/cvsroot/emacs whith ssh access.

I did use pserver authentication to checkout.
