Is there something important behind inhibit-eval-during-redisplay,
frame-focus and frame-face-alist? IIUC this is just an outdated
stuff which is not used neither by C nor Lisp code for a long time;
is it OK to drop them?

What qualifies as "important" for you?

inhibit-eval-during-redisplay is a valuable feature for debugging
redisplay problems. The other 2 are functions that return non-trivial
information; what would be the reason(s) for deleting them?
