Message-ID: <5.1.0.14.0.20021108122251.02576858@nightbreed.imap.itd.umich.edu> (raw)
I'm trying to install emacs in windows xp.
I am lost.
There is no install file in the download, despite your instructions. What next?
from the readme
"The file INSTALL in this directory says how to bring up GNU Emacs on
various systems, once you have loaded the entire subtree of this
directory."
Are there directions to installing it somewhere that is intended for people
who are not unix sysadmins?
Thanks
Jim
