Subject: bug#8707: 24.0.50; python-describe-symbol broken
Date: Fri, 20 May 2011 16:30:58 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <4DD6EBA2.8090702@gmail.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <4DD6C503.1020205@online.de>

I cannot reproduce this with Emacs trunk r104293.

The *help* buffer pops up and states "no documentation found for
'my_symbol_name'". Invoking python-describe-symbol through C-c C-f also
works.

The error message looks like something might not be configured right on
your system. Do you have other problems invoking shell commands? Can you
try a `M-x shell-command' and see if that one works?

Christoph
