Subject: bug#8707: 24.0.50; python-describe-symbol broken
Date: Fri, 20 May 2011 21:46:11 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <4DD6C503.1020205@online.de> (raw)

emacs -Q

in python-mode on some python symbol: M-x python-describe-symbol

instead of output in *Help* I get

WARNING: terminal is not fully functional
-  (press RETURN)

;;;;;;

Also Return doesn't give results, buffer is dead.

Bug does not occur with

GNU Emacs 23.2.1 (i586-suse-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.22.1) of 2011-02-22

Thanks

Andreas
