* removing a surrounding list

Hi,

must remove surrounding lists with its contents. For example:

(unless first (set-buffer (get-buffer-create test-mode)))

should be

(set-buffer (get-buffer-create test-mode))

Is there a tool right out of the box? Looked into
paredit.el, but can't see it.

Its done with

paredit-splice-sexp-killing-backward
