Hi,
If Gtk3 menu-tearoff feature is important to you,
please visit:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=602882
I have voiced my opinion there to keep the menu-tearoff feature
for GTK3.
Best Regards,
Paul Tan

We knew that, there was a discussion here earlier about removing
teroffs. We will put in a check for tearoffs (or perhaps Gtk+ 3), so
that when you compile for Gtk+ 3, tearoffs are not present.
Based on past experience, when the Gtk+ people has made their minds up,
there is little you can do to change it.

It makes you want a toolkit where "progress != remove things people are
using". :-( :-)
