I have a fairly wide display and would like to have a sidebar/topbar
that keeps a constantly updated list of recent files.
ECB is not quite what I'm looking for. It has a number of other things
I dont need.

well, tabbar-mode looks great. But I cannot find it. I am running
emacs23 and could use some help getting it setup.
