Hello,

I am using Emacs from CVS, built Sunday (5-10-2009) morning.  Since
upgrading to the new version I have pop-up frames happening all the time
in at least two major modes: MH-E and Org Mode.  None of my
customizations have changed.  The only thing I have edited this morning
were my mailcrypt settings, and mh-before-send-letter-hook.

Was there a change that can explain this?

What was the date of your last built that didn't show the behavior you
mention below?

Do you anywhere set `split-window-preferred-function' to nil in your
customizations?  What was the behavior like before the current one -
was it splitting windows or reusing existing windows?
