Subject: Failure in building Emacs-23.0.50
Date: Tue, 15 Jan 2008 23:29:47 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <478D33DB.9080800@alice.it> (raw)
The bootstrap of curent CVS 23.0.50 fails in this way:
-----------------------------------------------
...
Generating autoloads for url/vc-dav.el...done
Saving file /tmp/emacs/lisp/loaddefs.el...
Wrote /tmp/emacs/lisp/loaddefs.el
(No changes need to be saved)
Wrote /tmp/emacs/lisp/progmodes/cc-mode.elc
Compiling /tmp/emacs/lisp/progmodes/cc-vars.el
In toplevel form:
../../lisp/progmodes/cc-vars.el:367:1:Error: Symbol's function
definition is void: c-constant-symbol
make[2]: *** [compile] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/emacs/build/lisp'
make[1]: *** [bootstrap-build] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/emacs/build'
make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
-----------------------------------------------
This happens on GNU/Linux and on Cygwin.
Cheers,
Angelo.
