Subject: selected-frame returns different values after popping up a new frame
Date: Mon, 03 Dec 2007 08:27:47 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <47540453.1020800@diamondbackcap.com> (raw)
recipe:
1) start emacs with "-Q"
2) type "M-: (selected-frame) RET" and see that the initial frame is returned
in the echo area
3) type "C-x 5 b foo RET" and pop up a new frame with a new buffer, foo
4) in the original frame (displaying the *scratch* buffer), type
"M-: (selected-frame) RET" and see that the special minibuffer frame
is returned now instead of the original frame.
