It's perfectly reproducible, yes.

It is aborting in temp_set_point_both, in the "charpos > BUF_ZV
(buffer)" comparison. In test runs, I get charpos == 316, BUF_ZV
(buffer) = 293.

Time for someone versed in redisplay.
