Hello,
I sometimes use emacs via X forwarding on a remote machine on the
institute, just to ensure that everything I changed at home works there.
Normally I could distinguish the Emacs Window from the one which runs on
my local machine by the XWindow Title, it is ther emacs@blbabla and at
home its emacs@localhost. But I suppose the sysadmin has changed
something, and now when I do X forwarding, the title of the remote emacs
window is "Pete's Latschen" ??? Is that kind of a joke? What has the
Sysadmin changed, should I contact him?
Greetz,
Chris

My guess is that you copied entries from this recent post into your
own .Xdefaults:

Yeah, I think that I did not! Thats very mysterious :-) Is there
something like global .Xdefaults?? Maybe the sysadmin could have done so?
I really know what I have done, and I know that I did never touch the
.Xdefaults.
But thanks for your hint :-)
Really mysterious....
