Subject: gnuclient failure on AIX
Date: Fri, 19 May 2006 14:12:47 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <446f5c57$1@news.greennet.net> (raw)
AIX 5.3 with emacs 21.3.1 and gnuserv/gnuclient.
Periodically (days or weeks), gnuclient stops working. I get:
> gnuclient: Connection refused
gnuclient: unable to connect to local
I wonder if anyone has seen this, and if there's a way to recover
without restarting emacs? The server is still running and existing
client emacs frames work. But I can't start new ones from the command line.
