Subject: Fatal error (11).Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Date: Tue, 15 Mar 2005 17:31:58 -0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <42378C8E.2A39B0B0@credence.com> (raw)
Downloaded and compiled emacs using commands
configure --prefix=/u/bwest exec_prefix=/u/bwest
make >& make.log
src/emacs -q
on exiting emacs, received the message
Fatal error (11).Segmentation fault (core dumped)
As far as I can tell (in a few minutes) emacs behaves normally until
I exit with C-x/C-c
in the file make.log the word "error" appears once
in the context
Dumping under names emacs and emacs-21.4.1
715440 pure bytes used
./emacs -q -batch -f list-load-path-shadows
Fatal error (11).make[1]: *** [emacs] Segmentation Fault (core dumped)
Eleven warnings, none significant
(all say warning: comparison is always true due to limited range of data
type)
Perhaps info from config.log might be useful (doesn't look like it to
me)?
