I have tried to do the conversion myself but cannot get things quite right with "\\(\\s-*\\\[\\\-\\\] \\\)\\\(.*\\\)\" because it is giving me "\(\s-*M-x \-\ \)\(.*\)" Whereas I need to get (message regexp-display-string) \(\s-*\[\-\] \)\(.*\)
