It's not the VC system -- that is, the external program like "cvs" -- that asks such questions, but rather the VC package in Emacs. There's no risk that people working on the latter won't be Emacs users and won't (if it's documented properly!) understand the implications of automatic answers. Davis -- This product is sold by volume, not by mass. If it appears too dense or too sparse, it is because mass-energy conversion has occurred during shipping.
