Subject: multi frame layout
Date: Fri, 02 Sep 2011 12:09:46 +0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <351651314950986@web80.yandex.ru> (raw)

Hello.

My typical layout consists of two or three frames with source code, shell buffers and something.

Besides this I usually have Compilation and Grep buffers in dedicated frames
because of
==
(setq special-display-buffer-names
      '("*compilation*" "*grep*" "*Bookmark List*"))
==

The question is how to control in which frame a new file would be opened upon, for example, compile-goto-error
in Grep buffer.

Thanks.
